Hello Vista San Gabriel Families!

My name is Daniel Soto and I wanted to welcome you all to the 2025/2026 school year. I am excited to be starting my first full year as principal here at Vista San Gabriel. I look forward to working with all of you as we set out to build a strong foundation for your students’ lifelong journey in education.

It is my belief that learning can only take place when children feel free to explore the world around them and safe enough to go beyond their comfort zone. For this to happen our school community, families and school staff, must work together to create a safe and nurturing campus. It is my responsibility to see that our staff is delivering the support and consistently following school and district policies to meet this goal. I ensure that I will give my best each and every day in this regard.

We hope that you will take advantage of the many opportunities we offer to be a part of your students’ journey. This may be through volunteering in classrooms, being a member of our PTO or School Site Council, or by simply being a great ambassador for our school community. It will take all of us working together no matter how great or small the contribution.

In closing, please know that my door is always open and I am here to work with you to address any concerns or answer any and all questions that you may have. Let’s have a wonderful school year and, GO COYOTES!
